The Alaska Region would like to invite you to participate in this multi region 2 day event!
We invite you to visit Alaska in the winter, when we have some of the clearest weather that allows us to enjoy some of the most majestic views of Denali (Mt. McKinley). Yes, we drive our P-Cars in the cold and snow!
We have secured a few mountain view rooms, but other rooms are available. This all comes together quickly as the lodge is closed for most of the winter, which starts in October for us. The lodge has a shuttle that will drive us into the historic town of Talkeetna. Always a good time!
The Game Plan: Drive from Chugiak to Talkeetna, stopping along the way for lunch. Members are encouraged to go into Talkeetna and visit the local establishments. Later in the evening, we’ll meet up for dinner in the lodge. Next morning, we’ll head out for breakfast at a local establishment, where we will conduct a Porsche historical quiz. The winner will receive a prize and then we will drive back to Anchorage.
